![]() ![]() It is extremely frustrating, and effectively makes it almost impossible to use Text-To-Voice for 'Reader View' on my iPad Mini because who has patience to have to listen first to the 'Address Bar' + 10 or 15 previous 'TABS' of previous sites I have visited. ![]() The problem is only on my iPad Mini Software version up to date 13.1.2. So I use the 'Accessibility' feature & Swipe Down with 2 fingers. Select the iPad version of the Kindle app. This free app trusted by hundreds of millions is packed with all the latest tools you need to keep projects moving wherever you are. Do this by typing Kindle into the search pane at the top right of the App Store interface and tapping the Search button. ![]() I like & need to use Text-To-Voice so my Mini iPad reads aloud any article i choose. Tap the App Store icon on your iPad’s Home screen to open the App Store. I think the solution may be to make those top 2 'bars' be 'Hidden', as I can do on my desktop 'Mac Mini', by just going to 'View' and select to 'Hide'. Filter by these if you want a narrower list of alternatives or looking for a specific functionality of Amazon Kindle. Amazon Kindle alternatives are mainly Ebook Readers but may also be Ebook Libraries or PDF Readers. Instead, it reads aloud many extraneous features first, like the address bar, and the "Tab bar" below that, including every 'Tab' of previous recent Safari sites I have been to. Other interesting iPad alternatives to Amazon Kindle are Google Play Books, Apple Books, Scribd and GoodReader. It is failing to isolate only the article to read Text to voice.
